If you haven't noticed, I've been away from the game, and this blog for a while, and this guide actually got me back! Its a lot of fun to use, and you can start using it at any level, which I really liked.
The only thing WoW ruined was itself - over years of patches and expansions that changed the game and really took it far, far away from the original direction.
And why? Because we (maybe not us here on MMORPG.com) asked them to. Begged them to.
We didn't know this was where it'd lead, but WoW is really a shadow and a whisper of the game it once was... yet, at the same time, all of the quality of life improvements made to the game have made certain/many things much better.
But over all, despite all the fixes and positive changes, something was certainly lost. The soul of the game one could say.

Have you ever heard a comment such as the ones above uttered on a gaming forum before? No doubt you have, and it is hardly surprising! World of Warcraft is a part of our society’s cultural identity concerning nerds, gamers, and MMOs alike, so it stands to reason that any archetypal trope or meme associated with typical internet interactions would be present three fold regarding Blizzard’s pinnacle of success, eh? After all the idea that it is cool to bash World of Warcraft seems just as prevalent within gaming culture as said mannerisms and sentiments are.
As I stood in front of the nameless Undercity Auctioneer looking for some cheap yet essential foliage to grind up for more potions, I wondered why the process of leveling my profession had to be so…gold intensive. After giving up on that endeavor I looked through the glyphs I still didn't have and teleported back to the front lamenting my lack of gold. At times like these I often wonder if I'd be willing to throw down some cold, hard cash to alleviate my virtual woes. I've done it plenty in other games like Vindictus and League of Legends, why not in the biggest MMO of them all?

Fellow costars and nominees say the Glee star and first-time Emmy host, who is also nominated for her role as Sue Sylvester, is definitely up for the gig.
She's going to kill it, Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy, who is an Emmy nominee for her role on Mike & Molly, tells PEOPLE. And I have a good seat to watch Jane just destroy it.
And costar Iqbal Theba, who plays Principal Figgins on the Fox show, says Lynch is nothing like her prickly character – not that he doesn't want to see a glimmer of Sue's attitude on Sunday's telecast (which airs on Fox, 8 p.m. ET, live from the Nokia Theatre).
She will be the best host. She puts her heart and soul in everything she does, Theba says. I hope

A set with the flavor of the Old Gods about it - General Vezax from the Ulduar raid was a reference point. Any warlock tier is a great opportunity to bring a dark and warped aesthetic to player gear and this set was especially ripe for the treatment.
The short of it is this, bring your coin and gear to your local Transmogrifier, place the items into the device, and voila! There are a few restrictions though, you can only transmogrify items that have statistics on them, you can't combine different weapon or armor types, and you must be able to actually wear the item(s) you're combining.

The Horde has experienced a number of dramatic changes in the Cataclysm expansion. In vanilla, the Horde was struggling, largely due to a lack of resources. In Cataclysm, largely due to Garrosh Hellscream's efforts, the Horde has expanded its borders. With the help of the goblins, Azshara is being mined for a wealth of resources, and land is being grabbed all over Kalimdor. Things are beginning to look up for the Horde -- well, if you're in Orgrimmar. Elsewhere, the land is riddled with turmoil and tragedy.

If you're roleplaying a tauren, the events of Cataclysm are a bitter pill to swallow. A leader has been lost, entire settlements have been wiped from the map, racial infighting between the Grimtotem and the tauren of Thunder Bluff continues to rage. Yet in between it all are moments of hope -- and it's up to roleplayers to decide whether to wallow in the sorrow, fight back in fury, or simply try and keep an optimistic amidst it all.
